Where Gloucestershire Tech Week 2026 takes place.

Gloucestershire Tech Week moves through the county's past, present and future.  From aviation heritage and cyber resilience to university innovation, city-centre AI and the next generation of talent. Each venue has been chosen to connect the day's theme with a real place, a real community and a real part of Gloucestershire's technology story.

    Why this venue?

    Gloucestershire has answered national challenges before. We start the week at the Jet Age Museum to ask what that history can teach us now.

    A place rooted in aviation, engineering and national capability, chosen to open the week by connecting Gloucestershire's past strengths with the future challenges facing the UK.

    There is free parking available on site for all attendees.
    Public transport
    The closest bus stop is the 'Safran', which operates along the Stagecoach 94 and 95 routes.
    Accessibility
    The venue has accessible parking, step-free access and accessible facilities.

    Heating
    Heaters will be running in the event space. However, due to the nature of the venue, the Jet Age Museum hangar, which houses the aircraft, is not heated. Refreshments will be served, and tours will take place in this area. We recommend bringing an extra layer with you, just in case!

    Why this venue?

    This day explores what resilience and sovereignty really mean, and what it takes to build organisations and infrastructure that can absorb a shock and keep moving.

    A central Cheltenham innovation space connected to the cyber, tech and business ecosystem, chosen for a day focused on resilience, critical capability and organisational preparedness.

    Parking
    There is no available parking onsite; however, there are a range of long-stay car parks within walking distance of the event venue, including NCP the Brewery Quarter Cheltenham (GL50 4EJ) and the NCP Portland Street (GL52 2NX).
    Public transport
    By train: The nearest station is Cheltenham Spa, approximately a 20-minute walk into town, or a few minutes by bus (Stagecoach service D). By bus: Royal Well Bus Station is the main hub, centrally located and just a short walk from Hub8 MX on Chester Walk.
    Accessibility
    The venue has step-free access and accessible facilities.

    A £5.8 million centre of excellence for cyber and digital at the University of Gloucestershire, chosen for a day about how curiosity drives growth, innovation and resilience.

    Parking
    There is paid parking available on site for all attendees. Access to the main car park is from 'The Park', between Merestones Road and Brook Court. Full day: £3.70. Up to 3 hours: £2.30.
    Public transport
    The closest rail station is Cheltenham Spa. The 94 bus runs frequently between Gloucester (Transport Hub) and Cheltenham (Promenade), stopping directly at The Park, Park Campus.
    Accessibility
    The venue has accessible parking (via Entrance 4), step-free access and accessible facilities.

    There is no onsite parking. Paid parking is available at Q-Park: Q-Park Station Road, Gloucester, GL1 1SZ. Use the code PATCH20 for a discount on pre-booked parking only.

    Gloucester bus and train stations are both located within a 2-minute walk of the event venue, with routes available from Cheltenham and wider Gloucestershire.
